Leggo of my Logo

My class assignment was to create a logo for myself and present it in front of the class, which I did and I liked.
I got a big red "BULLSHIT" stamped on it.
This was the class where the syllabus stated that you needed a thick skin, which I have, so I was not offended at the critique.
Later, of course, the teacher explained why he gave us all that stamp.
Only a few of us students did the assignment correctly and only a couple of those students were told that they had a good idea, but it was going in the wrong direction or that it needed to be developed further.
I was one of those students.
I'm happy with this critique because using my logo will come in handy later in school. I will continue to work on it and turn it in again at the end of the quarter.
Our next assignment is to look for a job in our field of study.
HA!
That's going to be sooooo much easier than actually looking, applying and getting the job. I know this because I still need part-time work.

My critiqued homework. It's nice!

Keep at it. You will eventually dazzle the teacher.

Reminds me of a really tough teacher I had. The first day of class he told us that he doesn't give "A's." Doesn't believe in them. What does "A" mean, anyway? Excellent. Very few of you will deserve "excellent". And when you don't get that "A" you're expecting, don't have your mommies or daddies call me asking why... and on and on...

I only got B's in 3 of my classes all throughout my college-going years, which have spanned decades. LOL. I can't remember what they were now. I think one was photography (I was clueless in the darkroom but had a "good eye.") and the other I know was Watercolor. I'd never done watercolor and the "B", I felt, was generous.

I may have gotten my third "B" in one of his classes, but I had a lot of classes with this Prof. and all the others were "A's." And he was my favorite teacher, because he was tough on us. I used to pretend he was my "client" and each assignment was a very important design job I was doing for him. LOL.
